Ceramics Workshop

Everything begins with curiosity. With curiosity, technical skills, craftsmanship, and technology, humanity has transformed naturally available clay into an art form. Due to its soft nature, touching and shaping clay is a relaxing experience that strengthens hand and finger muscles while encouraging new perspectives.

In the first stage of Hisar Academy’s ceramics classes, students learn various clay-shaping techniques, allowing them to bring their imagination to life through three-dimensional objects. In the second stage, the dried ceramics are fired at 920°C to enhance their durability. The third stage involves coloring the ceramics with specialized paints and firing them a second time.

Throughout the course, students are introduced to notable artists, watch instructional videos demonstrating different techniques, and engage in discussions about contemporary exhibitions. These artistic conversations help develop their self-expression skills and nurture them into well-rounded, intellectual individuals.
