CERAMIC MASK WORKSHOP WITH CANSU SÖNMEZ
We are delighted to continue our Hisar Academy workshop series with a special art event! On Saturday, November 29, we invite you to join us in the Ceramics Studio, for the “Ceramic Mask Workshop” with artist Cansu Sönmez. In this creative session, children and their parents will design and shape their own masks inspired by imagination, nature, mythology, and emotions — exploring “the story behind a face.”
Fun Science Experiments Workshop
We invite you all to the second workshop of the year at Hisar Academy, the “Fun Experiments” which will take place on Saturday, November 1, on the ground floor of Block A. The workshop will be led by Seda Şengül, who has been working in our school’s science laboratory since 2014, engaging students in scientific processes through fun and hands-on experiments.Through these activities, they will not only learn fundamental scientific principles but also foster their curiosity and creativity. We hope to see you in this fun workshop along with your children.
Meet Classical Music Workshop “Bach”
As children explore the works of the famous Western classical composer Bach, they will strengthen their musical knowledge and develop a sense of rhythm through engaging workshop activities. By accompanying the rhythmic structure of the music with words, movement, and body percussion, they will enhance their rhythmic awareness; recognize the form and melody of the music; and enrich their repertoire by understanding its structure through symbols. We wish you an enjoyable and inspiring time together with your child at this event.
Meet Classical Music Workshop “Beethoven”
Following the first workshop with Mozart, this time, participants will meet Beethoven. While discovering famous Classical Western music composers and their works, children will enhance their musical culture through workshop activities. They will develop their sense of rhythm by accompanying music’s rhythmic structure with words, movements, and body percussion. By learning to distinguish the form and melodic structure of music through words and movements, they will grasp the structure of music through symbols and enrich their repertoire of works.
Meet Classical Music Workshop ” Mozart”
At Hisar Academy, various workshops are organized each year to support children’s development. This year, in a workshop led by Neşe Oğuzsoy, the author of the book Classical Music Series, children will be introduced to universal music culture. Starting with Mozart, the series will explore famous composers and their works while enhancing the sense of rhythm through body percussion and materials. Children will interpret the form and melodic structure of music through movement and symbols, expanding their repertoire.
New Year Greeting Card Workshop
The workshop will be led by our Visual Arts teacher, Melis Tarangano Enriquez. As a passionate art educator, she will share the highlights of her career journey, from creating mesmerizing window displays in New York to leading workshops for all ages. In this fun and creative workshop, our students and their parents will come together to enjoy an inspiring experience.
Architecture and Design Workshops with Arkki Türkiye
We are delighted to add a new workshop to the ones we organize at Hisar Academy in the 2024-2025 academic year, in collaboration with Arkki Türkiye. Arkki is a creative education school where children and young people learn and develop their general innovation skills through architecture and design.
Fun Experiment Workshop
We invite you all to the third workshop of the year at Hisar Academy, the “Fun Experiment Workshop,” which will take place on Saturday, March 22, on the ground floor of Block A. The workshop will be led by Seda Şengül, who has been working in our school’s science laboratory since 2014, engaging students with fun and hands-on experiments to teach scientific processes.
Mother-Child Art Workshop
As Mother’s Day approaches, we are pleased to introduce a new addition to the series of workshops we have organized throughout the year at Hisar Akademi. On Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM, we will host the Mother–Child Art Workshop: Colorful Bouquets, where children aged 7 to 10 and their mothers will collaboratively design vibrant paper flower bouquets. The workshop will be conducted by our Visual Arts teacher, Melis Tarangano Enriquez.
