As a whole, Aikido is defined as "The Way of unifying with life energy." The underlying philosophy of Aikido focuses on developing life energy rather than associating with winning or losing. This discipline aims to maintain a balance and harmony among mind, spirit and body, and teaches individual the ways of attaining a conflict-free life in all fields. Parallel development of the mind, body and spirit is essential for a healthy child development. It is at this point that Aikido contributes in the mental, physical and psychological development of the child in a non-competitive environment. Master trainer Atakan Utku who was instrumental in the teaching of Aikido at schools as a course, now organizes trainings at Hisar Schools, giving the secrets of "winning without fighting" as he has done with hundreds of young people.
