According to the American Music Therapy Association, music therapy is a "music-assisted health service that targets the physical, emotional, conceptual and social needs of individuals." Melody Rhythm Workshop addresses this need of children to help their development. Our master instructor, Danny Lundmark —a graduate of Music Department at Berklee College— takes the participants to a musical voyage both individually and with the group, with the help of various music instruments mainly comprised of percussions.

The history of music starts with the very existence of mankind who has an instinct to imitate the sounds in the nature. It is a turning point as important as the discovery of fire or writing. Emotions are transformed into sound. Each time, the society better reflects its emotions to melodies as music, passed from one generation to the next, grows and develops. There is virtually no society without music. For music is a language of mutual understanding and communication. That's why it is universal.
