Turn your breath into melodies with flute, which has a very important place among wind instruments. In addition to preparing students for the ABRSM (The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) examinations, Hisar Academy also provides a diverse set of courses for those who want to take up the flute as a hobby.
Our school's agreement with the Royal Academy in the flute branch also allows you to benefit from this institution's program. British Royal Academy's certificate and diploma program in music is an internationally recognized system of education and examination particularly in Europe and the United States. Upon successful completion of all phases, attendees to the program are entitled to an Associated Board of Royal Schools of Music certificate. Following a group class in theory and solfege, trainees attend individual flute lessons before entering the exams at the end of the term to receive their certificates.
Today, flute is made from minerals such as nickel, silver and gold. Until early 20th century, it was manufactured from hardwood such as ebony or pomegranate tree. Although a metallic instrument, it is included in the woodwind group as it has a wooden tone color, blends well with other woodwind instruments, and the method used to obtain the sound is similar to other woodwinds.
